Head of Finance and Controlling

OBJECTIVES:
- Lead Finance & Controlling within T-DC
- Support local management team in all financial matters
- Support Head Finance & Controlling Operations in all financial matters regarding T-DC
- Support Group Controlling to ensure the reliability and consistency of the reported information
- The functional lead of the local Finance & Controlling team in T-DC
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Implement Group Financial Guidelines
- Lead functional Finance & Controlling in T-DC
- Ensure consistent and reliable reporting according to the deadlines
- Achieving the common objectives (MBO)
- Management
- Lead, Train & Develop the Accounting and Controlling team
- Responsibility for profit and loss concerning this function
- Accounting
- Lead the accounting process in time and quality making sure all deadlines are met regarding bookings, accruals, and provisions
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
- Ensure proper accounting according to IFRS and US GAAP
- Annual Budgeting/Quarterly Forecasting
- Lead the budgeting/forecasting process within the site
- Initiate mitigation plan / corrective actions whenever needed
- Monthly Reporting
- Ensure timely reporting on high-quality
- Analyze monthly reports and propose corrective actions
- Taxes
- Ensure correct tax accounting and compliance with local tax rules and regulations
- Ensure timely and correct fillings of direct and indirect taxes
- Ensure transfer pricing is in line with global and local TP rules and regulations
- Treasury
- Execute all local treasury activities
- First contact for local banks
- Project Controlling
- Set up and run project controlling onsite (set up/revíew/analysis of project costs, monitoring of milestones)
- Ad Hoc analysis e.g. Operations management
- Plant Controlling
- Establish, maintain, and improve material calculation (Bill of Material, Standard costs, intersegment pricing)
- Ensure proper inventory levels including slow movers and advice on how to reach the budget
- Monitor cost centers and internal orders
- Implement cost savings as decided during the budget process
- Prepare monthly Operations Dashboard for the legal entities that are in scope and ensure proper analysis of major movements
- Business Support/Advice
- Act as Financial Advisor to the General Manager, as well as the whole management team
- Execute requested ad-hoc analysis from local, divisional, or group management
- Financial Processes
- implement and maintain local finance processes as required by Group TMS
- Continuously improve finance processes to enable more efficient day-to-day operations
- Financial Systems
- Financial lead locally for all financial systems such as SAP FI/CO/BW, Cognos, and Avatax
- Responsible for training local team with BW based on their day-to-day requirements
- lnternal Control System
- Maintain lnternal Control System
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelors or Masters Degree Preferred
At least 5 years experience in controlling in an industrial and international environment
Strong IT skills (SAP R/3, SAP BW, COGNOS and Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint)
