Sales Specialist - Detection

 

What you will do
In this highly technical and consultative role, reporting to the Commercial Manager of Tecan UK, you will drive sales of Tecan’ s Detection portfolio in the assigned territory. Whilst some of the system sales activities are straightforward, most involve an intricate and iterative sales process. As a sales specialist you will develop a deep knowledge of Detection platforms (Single and multimode plate readers, plate washers and cell imaging) in order to support various clients across your region.

 

Responsibilities will include

• Prospection and sales of Tecan Liquid Detection Instruments
• Establishing quotes and participation to public tenders
• Completing database of CRM
• Establishing the sales forecast for his/her sales territories
• Participation to exhibitions
• Organization of demonstrations in the UK or at Key Customers
• Training of customers post sale

 

What you bring along

• B.Sc. degree in life sciences (Chemistry and/or Biochemistry or Biology)
• At least three years of experience with track record in a similar position in sales
• Strong organizational skills in relation to manage multiple tasks with tight deadlines
• Ability to work accurately and autonomously
• Native English language skills are mandatory any other language is a plus
• Profound Microsoft Office Software knowledge
• CRM/SAP knowledge is a clear bonus
• Can do attitude
