Senior Application Scientist (m/f/d) 100%

 

What you will do

In this position you will plan and conduct experiments, analyze data, and summarize significant conclusions based on the results. You will be responsible to identify and define novel and innovative ideas to support life science applications in cell biology and their workflow execution on automated bio-analytical instrumentation.

 

Responsibilities will include

• Contribute in the design of new applications and the development and successful launch of bio-analytical instruments
• Recognize market trends with respect to relevant applications, technologies, and products
• Analyze applications and corresponding automation needs for product and technology developments
• Develop strategic and technical collaborations with academic and industry partners
• Ensure that documents and testing are in compliance with FDA, cGMP, ISO, and company policies

 

What you bring along

• Advanced degree (PhD or Masters) or equivalent experience in the Life Sciences
• 8+ years of lab experience in Cell Biology or related fields
• Demonstrated history in academic research and broad academic network
• Excellent knowledge of required equipment, application techniques, and toolsets
• Consistently seeking and learning new solutions and technology
• Ability to conduct complex research
• Holistic understanding of the system architecture with attention to details
